I'm not sad anymore.

ooooh but we did argue about abortion in my argument class today! this girl said she was against it in most cases and i was like excuuuuuuuuse me but I disagree!

and then just proceeded to hit all the standard pro-choice points like ‘it’s fine that you personally wouldn’t get one, but you have no right to take away another’s option to have one’ and ‘people would still have them anyway, but they’d be unsafe’ AND i even suggested that possibly pro-life people are also anti-sex and that by outlawing abortion they’re also attempting to eliminate sex outside of marriage. I mean, I’m responsible but mistakes can happen and I NEED to know that, worst comes to worst, I can get one if i really need to. if that option absolutely wasn’t available to me, I probably wouldn’t risk having sex at all. 

it was good and not many other people ever thought about that point but i’d like to think the pro-choice side won since her only argument was ‘well you can’t take away another life’

I really hate when people don’t take me seriously

Whenever I try and have an intelligent debate or try and get my point across, some people take me seriously but others just laugh and call me cute. And they’re like ‘oh hahahaheheo you’re so adorable when you’re angry!’

Just…no. I don’t want to be adorable when I’m angry. My anger isn’t ‘cute’ just because I’M tiny and cute. It’s just as valid as anyone else’s anger. 

When I’m trying to make a point, I’d like you to sit down, shut up, and listen to what I have to say. You don’t have to agree, but you do have to hear what I have to say as an intelligent human being. Even if I don’t agree with what you have to say, I still hear you out and take you seriously. So, please, have a little respect and don’t call me anger ‘adorable’ and just write me off. 

I wish i didn’t make up worst case scenarios in my head and then start believing they were actually happening

ah for me to qualify for the 5 year bachelor’s + masters degree program I need to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA

It’s 3.93 right now, but that’s only one semester.

This gives me new motivation for me to actually work!!!

sigh the ‘jared the ghost’ running gag in my house has now been changed to ‘darrin the ghost’

basically my best friend dated this kid named jared and we always talked about him but my family never saw him so my dad was like ‘is this guy even real? or is he just a ghost’

and I said I’m going up to see darrin tomorrow and my dad was like ‘jesus is this guy like jared the ghost? I’m starting to think he’s just a figment of your imagination. will we ever get to meet him, or will he remain a ghost forever?!?’ 

it’s things like these that make me NOT bring boyfriends over my house…
